Moana 2 Release Date
Moana 2 will be released in theaters on November 27, 2024. It is officially announced by Disney CEO Bob Iger on February 7, 2024, in a surprise move as the film was originally planned as a TV series for Disney+.

Bob Iger announced that a sequel to Moana on February 7, 2024. A short teaser is released, and you can watch it on the official Walt Disney Animation Studios YouTube channel. Some parts of the movie are still in development, and sooner we’ll get a full official trailer of Moana two. The movie will be released on November 27, 2024.
Moana 2 Cast
Both characters Moana and Maui are confirmed with their lead role, they’ll return with Auli’i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson’s original voices. New characters will also introduced with new voices to add more suspense in the movie. Full cast hasn’t been officially announced yet, but according to officials full cast will introduced soon.
When does Moana 2 come out on Disney Plus
After its theatrical release on 27 November 2024, Moana 2 will be released on Disney+ in line with recent Disney movies’ content strategy. Based on these projections, Moana is expected to be available on Disney+ in January or February 2025, depending on its box office performance.
